Pattern Note:  Phase I - tied on light wire long shanked Sproat hook. Appears in the book Forgotten Flies, by Paul Schmookler & Ingrid Sils on p536 (Mallory Cullen collection) as fly #168. Flies previously owned by William Whitney Mallory of Farmington ME and of CT. Pattern corrected 9 Jan 2023. Similar to Pattern #53.
